Tripoli, April 8, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, met yesterday, Sunday, with the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj, to discuss the latest developments in the political arena, and the results of the meeting that was recently held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, under the auspices of the League of Arab States, in which Al-Manfi participated with the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Aguila Saleh, and the President of the Council of State, Mohamed Takala.

According to the official page of the French Embassy, Maharaj said on his personal account on the (X) platform that he exchanged views with Al-Manfi on the political file after the Cairo meeting, the security situation and crises in the region. Al-Manfi was also informed of the preparations for the humanitarian conference on Sudan that will be held in Paris on April 15. .

In a related development, the French Ambassador to Libya, during his meeting with the Second Deputy Prime Minister of the National Unity Government - Acting Minister of Health - Ramadan Abu Jannah, discussed the political file, the security situation and southern Libya, in addition to bilateral cooperation in the health sector and its development. .
