Tripoli, April 05, 2024 (LANA) - The technical teams of the General Electricity Company continue their efforts to conduct maintenance work in a number of areas to ensure the continuity of electrical supply for all citizens.

The company stated that the lines team in the Ain Zara Al-Qarqani Distribution Department carried out emergency maintenance work yesterday, Thursday, which included maintenance of cut wires, as well as extending wires for a distance of (150) meters.

The company also announced the arrival of more electrical shipments to the power stations, as equipment and spare parts for the second gas unit, supplied by the American company (GE), arrived at Al-Zawiya Double power station, which will undergo major check work in the coming period, as part of the continuous and ongoing efforts that the company does this to support the network, maintain its giving pattern, and increase its production performance.
