Al-Manfi discusses with the President of Guinea-Bissau bilateral relations and coordination at the African level.

Tripoli, February 28, 2024 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, received, this evening, Wednesday, at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli, the President of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, Omar Al-Mukhtar Sisko Embalo, who is currently visiting Libya.

According to the media office of the President of the Council, the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations and ways to develop them in a way that serves the two friendly African peoples in various fields, as well as coordination and consultation regarding ways to enhance joint African action, in a way that contributes to achieving the growth and stability that African countries aspire to.

Al-Manfi affirmed Libya’s aspiration to develop the path of bilateral relations and advance the frameworks of joint cooperation between the two countries, and at the level of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (S-S) at various levels, officially and popularly, praising the active role of President Omar Al-Mukhtar in supporting the national reconciliation process in Libya through the role of the African Union and through its contribution to addressing all the crises that Africa is going through.
