The Chairman of the High Electoral Commission meets with the German special envoy to Libya.

Tripoli, February 25, 2025 (LANA) - The Chairman of the High Electoral Commission, “Imad Al-Sayeh,” met today, Sunday, with the German Special Envoy to Libya, “Christian Bock,” and his accompanying delegation at the Council’s headquarters.
The Commission's media office stated that the visit comes within the framework of the international community's support for the democratic process in Libya, and to review the level of the Commission's readiness to implement the municipal council elections scheduled to be implemented during this year.
During the meeting, Bock expressed the German government's appreciation for the Commission's efforts to hold the elections in accordance with the highest standards applicable in the world, and reiterated its readiness to provide technical and advisory support, which enhances the Commission's readiness to implement the expected entitlements.
