Tripoli, December 10, 2023  (LANA) - The meeting of the President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Manfi,” with the Special Envoy of the Russian President, “Vladimir Putin,” today, Sunday, focused on Libyan-Russian relations and ways to develop them, preserve Libyan sovereignty.

During the meeting which was held at the headquarters of the Presidential Council in Tripoli, in the presence of the Russian Ambassador to Libya, Haider Rashid Aganin, the two sides also discussed achieving the desire of the Libyans to reach parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible, according to the media office of the President of the Presidential Council.

The media office added that during the Mnifi meeting, the Russian envoy delivered a written message from the Russian president.
