Al-Koni visits the 55th Infantry Battalion and the Army Training Center.

Warshafana, December 7, 2023 (LANA) - The representative of the Presidential Council - the Supreme Commander of the Libyan Army - Musa Al-Koni - inspected the Sahel Al-Jafara training center affiliated with the General Staff, listening to explanations from those in charge, and its role in graduating military cadres competent in commitment and discipline.

This came during his visit to the headquarters of the 55th Infantry Battalion of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, and he was received by the battalion commander, Colonel Adel Akram, the officers and soldiers of the battalion, the member of the House of Representatives for the region, the mayors of the municipalities of Al-Jafara, the president and members of the Social Council and Warshafana, and the director of the Al-Jafara Security Directorate, Major General Nasser Al-Latif.

The battalion commander, Colonel Adel Akram, provided a detailed explanation of the tasks assigned to the battalion to preserve public and private property and achieve stability in the Warshafana region, and all regions of Libya.

According to the media office of the Presidential Council, Al-Koni was briefed on the battalion’s facilities and the progress of work therein, praising the discipline in place within the battalion, for its contribution to building the military institution, which is the safety valve for defending Libya, and preserving its unity to achieve its stability.

During the visit, Al-Koni stressed the support of the training centers affiliated with the General Staff as they are the cornerstone of the preparation and qualification of members of the military institution.
