Under the auspices of the Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority: The Ministry of Oil and the Oil Corporation agree on a joint work mechanism to manage the sector.

Tripoli, December 6, 2023 (LANA) - The Chairman of the Administrative Control Authority, Abdullah Qaderbuh, met this Wednesday morning at the Authority’s headquarters in Tripoli, the Minister of Oil and Gas, Muhammad Aoun, and the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Oil Corporation, Masoud Suleiman, in order to reach a joint work mechanism between the Ministry and the Corporation to manage the oil sector.

According to the official page of the Administrative Control, this meeting resulted in an agreement that leads to an optimal mechanism for the work of the two parties concerned with the sector that will ensure the proper management of the oil production and flow process.

Qaderbuh considered this agreement an important step that will result in good management of the oil sector, as it is an important sector that constitutes the largest proportion of the state’s national income, stressing that the Authority, in accordance with its establishment law No. (20) of 2013, will continuously monitor the sector, until the technical performance and daily production rate reach Advanced levels. In conclusion, I wish all the success to those working in the oil sector.
