Tripoli 6 December 6, 2023, (Lana) the UN and Qatar agreed to urge all Libyan actors and stakeholders to engage in a constructive dialogue facilitated by UNSMIL to pave the way for a comprehensive political settlement that steers Libya towards the path of elections.
This came during the meeting of the UN Envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, and the Qatari Ambassador to Libya, Khaled Al Dossari, on Tuesday, and they discussed the recent developments in Libya's political scene.
"We place emphasis on regional and international support to advance political progress,” Bathily said in a tweet.
