Takala discusses Bathily’s initiative with members of the HCS from the South.

Tripoli, December 6, 2023 (Lana) Head of the High Council of State (HCS), Mohamed Takala, discussed yesterday with members of the HCS from the south the initiative of the UN Envoy, Abdoulaye Bathily, about the five-party meeting.
This came during a meeting held at the council’s headquarters in Tripoli in the presence of the first deputy, Masoud Abeid, according to the communication office of the council.
The office added that the meeting discussed developments in the political process in Libya and stressed the role of the elites of southern Libya in setting suitable solutions for a political future and taking into account the fair distribution between the three regions.
