Al-Manfi arrives in Dubai to participate in the COP28 climate conference

Tripoli, November 30, 2023 (LANA) - President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, arrived on Thursday in the Emirate of Dubai to participate in the plenary session of the Twenty-Eighth Conference of the Parties on Climate Change (COP28).
The two-week meeting aims to assess the world's position regarding reducing emissions to reduce global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius compared to pre-industrial levels.
Organizing UAE officials said they expected more than 70,000 people to attend the talks, including 180 heads of state and government, by December 12, when the conference ends.
