Tripoli, November 27, 2023 (Lana): The GNU Ministry of Interior announced yesterday that the Patrols and Security Posts Departments had begun to implement the second phase of its plan to secure the country's western borders.
The ministry said on its Facebook page that the security services were conducting desert patrols in Hamada al-Hamra area, where there are smuggling roads and routes.
It added that security patrols made sudden positions on the road linking Qurayyat, Tabqa, and Daraj.
