Tripoli, November 26, 2023 (LANA) - The Second Deputy President of the High Council of State, Omar Al-Obaidi, discussed today, Sunday, with the Turkish Assistant Ambassador and Third Secretary at the Embassy, Muhammad Bayatli, developments in the political process in Libya and the steps taken to end the transitional stages.
According to the Council’s media office, during the meeting held at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides stressed the need to complete reaching a national consensus that would lead to the holding of parliamentary and presidential elections as soon as possible.
