Industry and Minerals Minister stresses the necessity of Arab integration in the field of industry.

  Rabat, November 03, 2023 (LANA) - The Minister of Industry and Minerals in the National Unity Government, Ahmed Abu Hissa, stressed the necessity of Arab integration in the field of industry within the framework of the Arab strategy for industrial integration.

During a speech he delivered before the organization's officials at its headquarters in Rabat on Friday, the minister praised the importance of the role played by the organization, which aims to strengthen relations of cooperation and partnership between Arab countries in the fields of industry, standardization and mining.

  The Minister also discussed with the Director General of the Organization, Adel Al-Saqr, aspects of cooperation between the Organization and Libya and strengthening bridges of communication, in addition to discussing project proposals related to the areas of work of the Organization and the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.

Abu Hissa pointed out that Libya has important capabilities in the industrial and mining field that would serve the Arab world, highlighting that Libya is interested in the technological pole and digital technologies in its programs concerned with industry and mining, expressing the country’s readiness to host the organization’s events and activities and strengthen communication with it.
