Central Bank's Unification Committee holds its first meeting in Benghazi.

Benghazi, September 28, 2023 (LANA) - The committee in charge between the Central Bank of Libya, Tripoli and Benghazi, held its first meeting at the bank’s headquarters in the city of Benghazi, in the presence of the Deputy Governor, Marai Al-Barasi, and the head and members of the committee to complete the unification project of the Central Bank of Libya.
The meeting comes, according to the bank’s media office, as a continuation of the efforts to unify the central bank, discuss initial procedures for evaluating payment systems, and unify the organizational structure in coordination between the bank’s departments according to the timetable agreed upon .
