Al-Manfi confirms his intention to call for an urgent meeting of the Supreme Finance Committee and assume its responsibilities.
Pulbished on:Tripoli, September 20, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, “Mohamed Al-Manfi,” held a meeting yesterday evening, Tuesday, with the President of the High Council of State, “Mohamed Takala,” the head of the National Unity Government, “Abdulhamid Al-Dabaiba,” and the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, “Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir.”
The meeting studied ways to support afflicted cities within the framework of the legal references governing the stage, and in a way that ensures that financial allocations reach those entitled to them in a high level of transparency, in compliance with the aspirations of the residents of these cities that they have expressed.
Al-Manfi confirmed his intention to call for an urgent meeting of the Supreme Finance Committee and assume its responsibilities within the framework of the support and confidence of the Libyan and international community in it.
In this meeting, the Prime Minister presented a detailed report on the percentage of completion of the government and its various agencies of the decisions of the Council of Ministers meetings last week in the city of Derna and the cities of Al-Jabal Al-Akhdar.
The meeting discussed a detailed statement about the presence of international support teams on the ground presented by a number of friendly and brotherly countries, the obstacles and ways to overcome them.
