President of the Czech Republic offers his condolences to Al-Mnifi for the victims of the floods and affirms his country’s support for Libya in this ordeal.

Tripoli, September 14, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Mnifi, received a cable of condolence from the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel, in which he expressed his deep sorrow for the losses caused by the recent floods in Derna and eastern Libya.

  The Czech President said in his telegram, "I received with great sadness the news of the devastating storm and floods that claimed the lives of many and caused thousands of wounded and missing people. I express my sincere condolences to the families of the victims of the disaster and to the entire Libyan people."

  President Pavel affirmed that his country stands with Libya in this ordeal, wishing the Libyan people patience and solace and the wounded a speedy recovery.
