Public Services Company in Tripoli begins cleaning and removing rubble inside the city of Derna.

Tripoli, September 14, 2023 (LANA) - Yesterday, Wednesday, the Tripoli Public Services Company began cleaning and removing rubble inside the city of Derna, one of the cities in eastern Libya, which was ravaged by torrents and floods, leaving thousands of victims.

       The company announced that its teams were divided into 3 sections, including the Rescue Department, which is specialized in removing rubble under which there are victims of floods, the Water Clearing Department, which is specialized in suctioning out stagnant water and swamps to open the way for other teams to complete their work, and the General Services Department, which is specialized in opening paths and removing fallen buildings and cars swept away by flood waters.

    The company added that all of these teams are equipped with the latest capabilities and high-luminance lighting detectors and operate 24 hours a day.
