Launch of a training course for members of the newly elected municipal councils.

Tripoli 4 June 2023 (Lana) The Municipalities Development and Decentralization Support Center, in partnership with the Tamsal Project and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), launched a training course targeting the newly elected municipal councils (Al-Arban, Gharyan, and Al-Khums).

These trainings come within the framework of implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Local Government to develop the municipalities and raise the efficiency of the cadres of the local administration units of the municipality, the investment department, strategic planning, and human resources development.

The center stated that this course, which was launched yesterday, is among the services that the Ministry of Local Government seeks to achieve in order to serve the community and raise competencies within the municipal councils.
