Benghazi, May 21, 2023 (LANA) – The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the House of Representatives, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, received, in his office in Benghazi, the French Ambassador to Libya, Mustafa Maharaj.

The General Command's Information Office said in a statement, on Sunday, that the meeting reviewed the latest developments on the Libyan scene.

  Last Thursday, the French ambassador met with the President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Manfi, in his office in the capital, Tripoli, and they discussed the presidential plan regarding the elections and an assessment of the security and military tracks, according to the media office of the President of the Presidential Council.
