The House of Representatives approves a number of laws, including laws combating the resettlement of foreigners in Libya, and establishing the National Council for Women and Children Affairs.

Tripoli, March 22, 2023 (LANA) – The House of Representatives, in its official session today, Wednesday, at its headquarters in the city of Benghazi, headed by the First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, "Fawzi Al-Nuwairi," approved a number of laws.

A spokesman for the House of Representatives, "Abdullah Blehaq," said in a press statement that the parliament, after discussing in its session today a number of issues and draft laws, reached the postponement of broadcasting a number of draft laws, and the approval of other laws.

According to "Blehaq", the Council approved by the majority draft laws (regulating technical and vocational education - a law establishing an accreditation and oversight body for health institutions - a law establishing an accreditation and oversight body for institutions - amending Article No. (135) of Law No. (5) of 2018 regarding power of the police - the law against the settlement of foreigners in Libya - the law of reorganizing the International Islamic Call Society - the law establishing the National Council for Women and Children Affairs).
