Tripoli 22 March 2023 (Lana) Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Corporation, Najla Al-Manqoush, briefed US Assistant Secretary for Near Eastern Affairs, Barbara Leaf, and her accompanying delegation, on the efforts of the Government of National Unity "GNU", to enhance stability and prepare to hold the elections.

This came during her reception to Leaf, accompanied by the US Envoy and Ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland, and Chargé d'Affaires, Leslie Ordeman, at the ministry's office in Tripoli yesterday.

The ministry stated on its SMS page that the delegation assured Al-Manqoush of their support for international and local efforts to hold the elections by the end of this year.
