Tripoli, March 21, 2023 (LANA) - The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mashri, discussed today, Tuesday, with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, the latest developments in the political process in Libya.

During a meeting held at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli, the two sides also discussed relations and ways to solve the current crisis by holding elections on sound constitutional and legal bases, according to the media office of the High Council of State.

The media office added that Al-Mashri thanked the ambassador for his efforts in supporting and strengthening bilateral relations, and supporting the Libyan political process, on the occasion of the end of his term as ambassador of his country to Libya.
