Cairo, March 20, 2023 (LANA) - The Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, "Ahmed Aboul Gheit," discussed with the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister, "Mikhail Bogdanov," developments in the Arab region, including developments in the situation in Libya, and Arab-Russian relations.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement that the talks that took place in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, between Aboul Gheit and Bogdanov discussed settling crisis situations in the Middle East and North Africa and enhancing security and stability in this strategically important region.

The two sides also exchanged in-depth discussions on regional issues related to ways to resolve crises in Libya, Syria and Yemen, as well as the file of the Palestinian issue, according to the Russian statement.
