Tripoli 1 February 2023 (Lana The Chairman of the Executive Council of the Municipality of Benghazi, Saqr Bojwari, met with the German Ambassador to Libya ,Michael Ohnmacht, and his accompanying delegation.

The SMS page of the Municipality stated that the meeting discussed the role of the German companies in reconstruction, the importance of their presence, and the difficulties that prevent them from returning to work in the city.

They also discussed the work of the German Foundation for International Cooperation (GIZ) about local government programs, modernization of municipalities, and the administrative development.

"It was my pleasure to meet and discuss today with the Mayor of Benghazi, the essential role of Municipalities in serving citizens", Ohnmacht said in a tweet.
