The Libyan Center for Remote Sensing announces seismic activity off the Libyan coast.

 Tripoli, 31 January 2023 (Lana) The Libyan Center for Remote Sensing and Space Sciences announced on Tuesday that seismic activity has occured off the Libyan coast.

 The center said on its SMS page that "seismic activity took place off the Libyan coast in the Mediterranean Sea on the border of a rift between two African, European and Asian plates." He added that the activity is followed up by researchers specialized in this field at the center through information and data from international organizations. Unfortunately, Libya's national seismic network has been out of service for years, the centre said.
