Tripoli, December 05, 2022 (LANA) - Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs "Walid Al-Lafi" chaired the meeting of the Ministerial Committee to Support Elections, in the presence of the Director of the Foreign Affairs Department at the Prime Minister's Office, and the undersecretaries of the Ministries of Education and Youth.

The meeting - which was also attended by the head of the Information Authority, the director of the Telecommunications Holding Company, and the government spokesperson - discussed a package of proposals, programs and activities that will be implemented in the coming days by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Youth and Education, the Information Authority, and the Civil Status Authority.

The Department of Information and Communication of the Government of National Unity stated on its official Facebook page that these proposals and programs aim to expand the circle of participation in supporting the elections, and to involve various segments of the people in the electoral process.
