Tripoli, October 3, 2022 (LANA) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, "Abdul Hamid Dabaiba," received a high-level Turkish delegation headed by the Turkish Foreign Minister, "Mevlut Çavuşoğlu," including the Ministers of Defense Hulusi Akar, Energy "Fatih Donmez" and Trade, Mehmet Muş, in addition to the President General Staff Yasar Guler, Turkish Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun, and Chief Adviser to Turkish President Ibrahim Kalin.

An expanded meeting was held in the presence of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, "Najla Al-Manqoush", the designated Oil and Gas Minister, "Mohammed Al-Hweij", the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, "Seddik Al-Kabeer", the Chief of General Staff, "Mohamed Al-Haddad", the Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, "Walid Al-Lafi" and for Cabinet Affairs and Prime Minister "Adel Juma'a" ".

The meeting, according to the Prime Minister's media office, dealt with preparations for holding the Supreme Libyan-Turkish Strategic Council in Tripoli, and the Libyan-Turkish Partnership Forum, which will represent the launch of a number of important strategic projects.

After the meeting, memoranda of understanding were signed in the fields of security training, oil and gas energy, and media, in the context of strengthening relations between the two countries.
