Kuwait city, 29 September 2022 (Lana) The Minister of Information and Culture – Minister of State for Youth Affairs – in the Kuwaiti government "Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi" expressed hope that security and stability be restored to Libya soon, and his wishes that Libyans will reach national solutions to get their country out of its crisis, so that Libya return to play its normal role in its Arab and international surroundings, and its people will enjoy progress and prosperity.
This came during his reception on Wednesday in the Kuwaiti capital of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan News Agency Abdel Basset Ahmed Abu Diyah.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Kuwaiti Minister of Information welcomed the Libyan News Agency's response to the invitation to visit Kuwait and participation of its Chairman of the Board of Directors within Arab and international media delegations in the follow-up to the electoral event in the gulf state, the elections of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, and to convey the true image of democratic practice and the march of historical parliamentary and the historical process of parliamentary work and its role in enriching and developing political life in Kuwait over decades, enabling the Kuwaiti citizens to exercise their national right to elect their deputies and to shape their country's internal and foreign policies.
On his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan News Agency thanked the Minister of Information and the Kuwaiti government for this kind invitation to visit Kuwait, wishing success for the electoral process and for the Kuwaiti people in their choices in electing their deputies in the National Assembly.
Abu Diyah commended the democratic practice in Kuwait and the parliamentary work of the Kuwaiti National Assembly, which is a recognized historical model in the region, and must be encouraged as a model for all the peoples of the region.
