Head of the National Unity Government Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba confirms government's adherence to election option cross Libya.

Tripoli, 22 September, 2022 (Lana) - The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba" affirmed during the 13th regular meeting of the Council of Ministers held, Thursday, at the Office of the Presidency of the Government in the capital, Tripoli, that the Government of National Unity adheres to the option of elections cross Libya.

In his speech, Dabaiba renewed the call for the parliament and the state to issue a just constitutional rule that does not exclude anyone.

Al-Dabaiba called to think of alternative solutions in the event that the delay in issuing the constitutional rule continues, stressing the need not to suspend the future of Libya on the agreement of two parties who differed in one or two constitutional articles. Real through the Libyan people so that it is on a legitimate basis and not through bodies whose legitimacy has been eroded due to the extension. He pointed out that the international community has become more understanding of the need for a simple and short way in which there is no room for an extension and no party can obstruct it.

Dabaiba described Libya presiding over the meetings of Arab foreign ministers after a nine-year hiatus as a victory for all Libyans and for a stable Libya that is regaining its rights and status every day.

 Dabaiba said that the Libyan memory cannot forget what happened on August 27 of the crimes against the Libyan people and the residents of the city of Tripoli, especially in the attempt to seize power by using violence and force.
