Tripoli, March 23, 2022 (LANA) - The Director-General of the National Council for Economic and Social Development, "Mahmoud Al-Futaisi", discussed today, Wednesday, with the support team of the US Agency for Support (USAID) the plan to develop the electricity sector.

During the meeting, which was attended by experts specialized in the field of energy, they reviewed aspects of cooperation with the working group concerned with developing a strategy for developing the electricity sector and renewable energies.

The USAID support team reviewed the stages that have been completed within the framework of the plan to develop the electricity and energy sector in Libya, and the procedures and measures taken in this regard.

The meeting comes within the framework of joint cooperation between the National Council for Economic and Social Development and the US Agency for Supporting the Electricity Sector in Libya.
