Kufra city commemorates 84 anniversary of Kufra battle.

Kufra, 20.01.2015(Lana) Kufra city commemorated Monday the 84 th anniversary of Kufra battle against the Italian invasion during which the grandfathers offered many sacrifices.\nMany speeches were made in the occasion praising the sacrifices of the grandfathers.\nThe commemoration included poems and Calvary shows.\nOne of the fights who took part in the battles and still Alice\'s was honored at the celebration.\nThe participants in the celebration then went to the site of the battle where the martyrs were buried to recite verses from the holy Quran and laid wreaths on the tombs of the martyrs. \nThe celebration was attended by Kufra Local Council, Shuta council and Sudanese Consular.
