Head of OIC Delegation in the Monitor of Election Praises Organisation

\nTripoli, 20 February 2104(LANA) The Head of the delegation of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, who is taking part in the monitor of the elections currently underway in Libya, has paid a visit to the HNEC information centre.\n \'Elections conducted under independent agencies are often fair, and this applies to elections held in the Arab Spring countries, unlike those held under control of the ministry of interior, Al Habib Ka\'abashi said in a statement.\n Ka\'abashi highlighted the effort of the HNEC in conducting a fair election, to enbale the Libyan people to vote in a free and democratic atmosphere.\n He praised the level of organisation throughout the electoral process which he expected to be transparent and successful.\n The very social fiber of the Libyan people makes is conducive to making a democratic process easier to handle, he said, noting that the OIC and its Secretary General were ready to offer any assistance at this point.\n =LANA=\n \n\n\n \n\n
