France Urges Political Parties to Avoid Use of Force and to Pursue the Political Transition in Libya

\nParis, 20 February 2014(LANA) France on Wednesday called on Libyan political opponents to avoid resorting to force and to continue the political transition in the country.\n The Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius renewed in a telephone contact with the Head of the Interim Government Ali Zaidan France\'s support to Libya\'s legitimate institutions and the democratic transition in the country, the spokesman for the French Foreign Minister Roman Nadale said.\n Fabius said his country was committed to the democratic elections held in Libya in 2012, calling on Libyans to renounce violence and to continue to pursue together the political transition, in recognition of those who fell during the Feb 17 Revolution.\n =LANA=\n
