\n\nLibya Takes Part in Conference of Parliamentary Union OIC Member States\n Tehran, 19 February 2014(LANA) Libya is taking part in the conference of the Parliamentary Union OIC Member States which opened on Wednesday in Tehran.\n Libya\'s delegation is led by Abdul Hafidh Al Dayekh, Member of the General National Congress.\n In remarks Al Dayekh made at the meeting on behalf of the President of the General National Congress, he said Libya has undergone several changes since the Feb 17 Revolution to create the democratic institutions and establishment of state on the basis of peaceful transition of power.\n The 2 day conference, held under the theme \'Islamic councils, solidarity, progress and justice\', is being attended by delegates from Algiers, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Afghanistan, UAE, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Palestine, Benin, Chad, Niger, Sudan, Egypt, Kuwait, Indonesia, Gabon, Mali, Senegal and Malaysia.\n On the agenda of the conference were the program of action of the ninth session, report of the secretary general and endorsement of the expert report on the Islamic parliamentary declaration document which was approved by the executive committee in its meeting in Bamako in June 2013, as well as amendment of union rules in accordance with the new statute.\n =LANA=\n\n \n \n
