\nAbu Sahmain Urges Libyan to Reconsile and to Come Above Their Differences\nTripoli, 17 February 2104(LANA) The President of the General National Congress Nuri Abu Sahmain has saluted the revolutionaries who he said the guardians of homeland across the nation.\n In a statement he addressed to the Libyan people on the third anniversary of the February 17 Revolution, Abu Sahmain paid tribute to the martrs of homeland and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.\nHe also saluted \'the revolutionaries who volunteered to to liberate the southern cities which are endeered to us all and to repulse the former regime loyals who sought to undermine that part of our home.\nAbu Sahmain touched on the stages in which the Feb 17 Revolution had gone through and the difficulties facing the General National Congress since it was elected .\nThe Congress, he said has reached an agreement between the blocks and independent members to go for early elections as soon as possible, and that the election law would be forwarded to the High National Election Commission in no later than March 2014.\n There was an agreement on a constitutional amendment that would give the cultural components including the Amazigh, the Tabo and the Tuareg their cultural rights, and the President of GNC said, noting that the Amazig can now be represented in the Committee 60 which would set up a draft constitution by two members.\nAbu Sahmain urged all Libyans males and females to comeabove their differences, warning that the country was facing threats by the enemies of freedom and the forces of reaction and backwardness.\n=LANA=\n
