\nAmerica Renews its Support for Libya, Pledges to Help Libyan People Rebuild Their Country\n Washington, 17 February 2104(LANA) The United States has reiterated its support for Libya to build its institutions, hailing the courage of the Libyan people who closed ranks and toppled the former regime.\n The US Secretary of State John Kerry said in remarks on Sunday on the Libyan third anniversary of the Feb 17 Revolution \'the American people wanted to know you, to learn from you and to work with you.\'\n Kerry hailed the courage shown by the Libyan people in defeating the defunct regime, saying \'the war the Libyans waged against Gaddafi Regime was part of the proud Libyan legacy along with the big sacrifices which the Libyan made and which touched the world.\' \n The US Secretary of State said we wanted to work with Libya to to rebuild Libyan military and urged all Libyans to work together to put in place a constitution that represents the whole Libyan society.\n Kerry also congratulated the Libyan national football team for their win of the African Chan champions tournament held in South Africa, saying that was an example of what Libyans can achieve together.\n He described the Libyans celebration of the win as they danced in the rain and waved national flags, expressing hope that they would share the same spirit as they celebrate the revolution anniversary and to plan together for the future of their country.\n =LANA=\n \n\n\n
