German Ambassador to Libya Visits Al-Jayed Food Industries Facilities

Misrata, November 5, 2026 (LANA) – On Wednesday, the facilities of Al-Jayed Food Industries in the city of Misrata hosted the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Libya, Arvid Anders, and his accompanying delegation. The visit included a field tour to inspect the company’s production lines and manufacturing stages.

In a statement on its official page, the company noted that the visit explored opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of technical and technological expertise with the German side. The discussions focused on leveraging German technological advancements in the food industry to help develop local production and enhance its competitiveness.

During the visit, the company showcased the technical and technological systems employed in its manufacturing, filling, and packaging processes, as well as the quality and food safety standards applied throughout the various stages of production.

This visit took place as part of the German Ambassador’s official trip to the city of Misrata, and aligns with broader efforts to strengthen international partnerships and support the national industrial sector.
