Benghazi, November 4, 2026 (LANA) – The new Governor of the Central Bank of Libya, Fawzi Abu Khuzam, took the legal oath today, Wednesday, in Benghazi before the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Al-Salihin Abdul-Nabi.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Members of the House of Representatives—Abdulsalam Nassiya, Khalifa Al-Daghari, Yousef Al-Aqouri, and Ali Al-Tikbali—as well as the Deputy Chief of the House of Representatives Office, Rasmi Bal-Ruwain; the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, Marei Al-Barassi; and a member of the Central Bank’s Board of Directors, Fakher Bu-Farna.
