MOF and Greek Ambassador Discuss Developments on Maritime Borders.

Tripoli, 4 November 2026 (Lana): The GNU-Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation discussed with the Ambassador of Greece to Libya the latest developments on the maritime borders file and exchanged views on it, in light of the Libyan Parliament’s ratification of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Libya and Türkiye.
This came during a meeting between the Head of the Land and Maritime Borders Committee, Mohamed Al-Harari, and the Director of the European Affairs Department, Abubakr Al-Tawil, with the Greek Ambassador to Libya, Ioannis Papamelitiou Miletios, in the presence of the Head of the Southern Europe Section at the European Affairs Department, Nadia Masoud.
The meeting also addressed ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation between the two countries and explore new prospects for partnership in the economic, commercial, and investment areas, in a manner that contributes to expanding joint investment opportunities and achieving mutual interests.
