Sabha, November 2, 2026 (LANA) – The House of Representatives voted on Monday—with 78 out of the 90 members present in favor—to accept the resignation of the former Governor of the Central Bank of Libya and to appoint Dr. Fawzi Abu Khuzam as the new Governor.

The House stated, via its official page, that the vote took place during a session held in the city of Sabha.
