Dbeibeh reviews the operational plan for Tripoli International Airport

Tripoli, October 28, 2026 (LANA) – Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Dbeibah, received on Wednesday the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Toscana Aeroporti"—a company specializing in airport management and operations—Martin Francesco, and its CEO, Roberto Naldi. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Libyan Investment and Development Fund, Mahmoud Ajaj, and the Director-General of the Economic and Social Development Fund, Yassin Al-Abyad.

The company’s representatives presented their technical vision and proposed plan for operating Tripoli International Airport. This included frameworks for management and operations, as well as strategies to enhance service standards in line with professional criteria that meet the requirements of international airports and the volume of air traffic at the facility.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the operational plan must be grounded in comprehensive technical foundations that account for the status of Tripoli International Airport and its role in air transport. He stressed the need to ensure operational efficiency and high-quality services, in a manner that aligns with the expectations of travelers and the requirements of airline companies.
