The Speaker of the Arab Parliament affirms his commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination with the House of Representatives

Tripoli, October 28, 2026 (LANA) – The Speaker of the Arab Parliament, Saad bin Salib Al-Otaibi, affirmed the Arab Parliament’s commitment to elevating coordination and cooperation with the Libyan House of Representatives to the highest levels. This effort aims to serve the causes of the Arab nation, strengthen the trajectory of joint Arab parliamentary action, and support just Arab causes.

In a message received by the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Al-Salihin Abdulnabi, Al-Otaibi praised the pivotal and leading role played by the House in supporting the Arab Parliament. He expressed his appreciation for the House’s dedication to strengthening the bonds of cooperation and partnership, in service of shared Arab interests.

The Speaker of the Arab Parliament also expressed his aspiration to continue joint efforts with the support and backing of the Libyan House of Representatives, contributing to the enhancement of Arab parliamentary cooperation and the development of its mechanisms. He further wished Libya and its people lasting security, safety, and continued progress, advancement, and prosperity.

Al-Otaibi’s message was sent in response to a congratulatory note from the Speaker of the Libyan House of Representatives, Al-Salihin Abdulnabi, on the occasion of his election as Speaker of the Arab Parliament.
