Al-Sunni meets with Turkey’s UN Representative

Tripoli, October 24, 2026 (LANA) – Libya’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, met with Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the international organization, Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, to discuss the latest political developments and challenges facing the region, as well as ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two missions on issues of mutual interest.
In a post on the platform "X" (formerly Twitter) today, Saturday, Al-Sunni stated that the meeting took place within the framework of ongoing consultations between Libya and Turkey. He noted that the discussion covered political and regional developments, as well as prospects for cooperation and coordination between the two missions at the United Nations.
