Turkish Presidency Welcomes HoR’s Ratification of Maritime MoU.

Ankara, 21 October 2026 (Lana) The Turkish Presidency welcomed the House of Representatives’ ratification of the maritime memorandum of understanding signed between Libya and Türkiye.
The Presidency stated that the parliamentary vote represents an important development in protecting the shared rights and interests of Libya and Türkiye and in determining maritime jurisdiction areas on a fair basis.
It added that Türkiye would continue to protect its legitimate rights and interests and further develop its relations with Libya.
