Emergency Medicine and Support Center: Field Emergency Medical Unit Inaugurated in Kabaw in the Presence of Minister of State Mohammed Ben Ghalboun

Kabaw, October 19, 2026 (LANA) – The Director General of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center inaugurated a field emergency medical unit in the city of Kabaw today, Monday, in the presence of Mohammed Omar Ben Ghalboun, Minister of State for the Affairs of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers in the Government of National Unity, the Head of the Executive Team for Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects, and the mayors of the municipalities of Kabaw and Nalut.

In a statement published on its official page, the Center explained that the inauguration comes as part of its efforts to strengthen emergency response capabilities and bring ambulance services and urgent medical care closer to citizens in the city and surrounding areas.

The Center added that this step aims to expand field coverage and enhance the readiness of response teams, thereby helping ensure rapid intervention and the provision of necessary medical care in a timely manner.
