Blehaq added that the Speaker issued directives to the Planning and Finance Committee to work toward reducing the exchange rate in coordination with the Central Bank of Libya, prepare a general import budget, establish a unified salary scale, and regulate public spending in accordance with approved budget allocations. The directives also stipulated that documentary credits should not be opened beyond the limits of available cash coverage.
