Tripoli, October 18, 2026 (LANA) – The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) announced that the total oil revenues actually deposited into its accounts from the beginning of October up to the close of business today, Sunday, October 18, reached $934 million.

In a clarifying statement posted on its official page regarding the update of oil revenue data, the Bank explained that the total amount deposited by the close of business on Wednesday, October 14, was $361 million—the figure previously reported for that period. This amount subsequently rose to $577 million by the close of business on Thursday, October 15, following the recording of additional transfers that day.

The statement noted that total oil revenues deposited into the Bank’s accounts reached $934 million by the close of business on Sunday, October 18. It affirmed the accuracy of the data published for each respective period, clarifying that these figures represent cumulative totals reflecting funds actually received into its accounts; the increases observed between different periods are due to additional transfers recorded at later dates.

The Central Bank of Libya reiterated that its data pertains exclusively to funds actually deposited into its accounts. It does not include amounts collected by other entities that have not yet been transferred to the Bank, nor does it account for the value of oil exports or outstanding invoices for which the proceeds have not yet been received.

In its statement, the Bank expressed its appreciation for the efforts of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) and the Audit Bureau, emphasizing the importance of complementary roles and cooperation in serving the national interest. He also affirmed that he would continue to publish and regularly update data on financial flows, and coordinate with the relevant authorities, in a commitment to transparency and accurate disclosure, and to bolster confidence in official information.
