The Presidential Council announces the postponement of the second meeting of the Supreme Authority of Presidencies.

Tripoli – October 18, 2026 – (LANA) – The Media Office of the Chairman of the Presidential Council announced on Sunday that the Chairman’s office has received confirmation from the heads of the relevant institutions regarding their participation in the second meeting of the Supreme Authority of the Presidencies. This reflects an acknowledgment of the importance of this foundational framework, which is necessitated by the requirements of the current phase; no reservations were raised by any of the participants.

The Office explained that, as the proposed date coincides with prior official commitments for one of the members, coordination is underway to set a new date that ensures full participation and creates the optimal conditions for the meeting’s success.

It further stated that the date for the meeting will be announced by the end of this week, following the conclusion of consultations with the concerned parties.
