In Tripoli, on 18 October 2026 (Lana), Attorney General Counselor Al-Siddiq Al-Sour discussed cooperation between Libya and Malta on criminal matters with the Maltese Minister of the Interior.

The meeting included an exchange of views on developing cooperation in criminal matters between the Office of the Attorney General and its counterpart in Malta, as well as a review of the progress of procedures related to the extradition of individuals and the recovery of assets.
