Al-Baour Participates in the 52nd Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Baghdad

Baghdad, October 17, 2026 (LANA) – Taher Al-Baour, who is tasked with managing the affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in the Government of National Unity, participated this Saturday in the opening of the 52nd session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The session addresses a range of issues of common interest—foremost among them the Palestinian cause and developments in the Gaza Strip—alongside key regional and international updates. It also considers draft resolutions for adoption, covering various political, economic, social, humanitarian, and developmental dossiers.

The session includes official delegations from member states and invited guests, held under the theme: "Dialogue and Solidarity: Fundamental Pillars for Promoting Peace and Sustainable Development."
